From a young age I’ve been devoted to scouting, so I always knew that working with children is something I want to do. After graduating from the University of Ostrava, upper-elementary teaching, I worked for a year as a teacher of mathematics and geography. Then I went to Ireland where I got to a nursery with Montessori elements and saw for the first time how children learned through play. I was in charge of children from six months to four years of age. After three beautiful years in Ireland, I returned to Moravia and found a nursery in Zlín where I started working as an assistant teacher for children from 3 to 6 years, and later as a teacher in a classroom of children from 18 months to 3 years. Now I’m on maternity leave with my two children and from September I’ll be building an upper-Elementary Montessori school in Zlín.
